28 more days till we fly and I'm already dreaming up my office space! When I started my business, I worked from a tiny laptop on the couch so you bet I'm excited to get started on designing my own office space. Having a place I love to work is really important for me and I'm excited to share this space with some really awesome people.

A lot has changed since I started my business so instead of getting one little desk, I'll be getting two large strut tables from BluDot and plan to push them together like the image below. This way it will seat 6 people. It will give me plenty of space to work. In addition to it being my workspace, I'll also be sharing the space with my husband who is well on his way with web development. He's building some pretty incredible things and it's time to get him set up correctly. Having a desk + good chair to sit in makes all the difference. If you create a space that you love to work in, it makes all the difference.

You might be wondering... ok two huge desks...for just the two of you?

Well not exactly. We also decided recently that we will start homeschooling our daughter who's 8, you can read all about WHY we made such a big decision to switch from public school to homeschooling HERE. This space will also allow her to have a place to learn right by our side, and I'm kind of excited for her to also learn more about the entrepreneurial lifestyle that we have. She has a front row seat and is getting to the age where she's showing more interest in what we do. We have a son who is 4 who will probably use a portion of this desk as his personal race car track.

There's also enough space for when my sister, graphic designer, and owner of Something French comes to visit me to have a place to put her computer down while she's on the go. We're all about working hard and playing hard.

This space won't just be mine, I get to share it with my favorite people in the world.

I plan to keep things very simple. I love lots of whites and natural elements. My goal is to collect simple items such as pretty sun hats and use them for functionality and decoration in the space. I'm not really info useless decor so if it doesn't have a purpose or inspire me, then you won't see it in my space.

One thing I would really love to get is a large Letterfolk board with a quote I found. I wanted to get something that would inspire myself, my husband and our kids to always be true to who we are, to work hard, and play hard. That we only have one life to life and should always remember the importance of living life to the fullest.

Moving to Maui for us is a big life moment for our family and I want a way to always remember that this is us living life to the fullest. I hope that if it's one thing my kids learn from me, it's that they can really do anything they put their mind to.

There's not another person in the world like them and that quote seemed perfect.
