If you've ordered any of my Mobile Exclusive Presets you've probably excited to get them installed on your Lightroom mobile app and start using them on your every day photos. This article will walk you through the steps on installing them.

Before you get started make sure to download an app that will allow you to unzip folders. I like to use iZip. Once that is complete, open up your download email (you will get this right after ordering) and click on the download.)

It will download the presets in a zip format, so all you need to do is use your app to unzip it before continuing on the install process.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Unzip the Files

Before you get started make sure to download an app that will allow you to unzip folders. I like to use iZip. Once that is complete, open up your download email (you will get this right after ordering) and click on the download.)

It will download the presets in a zip format, so all you need to do is use your app to unzip it before continuing on the install process.

If you have trouble unzipping your presets on your phone, you can also open up your download on your computer, unzip it there by double clicking and then upload the DNG files to a dropbox folder. Send yourself the link so you can access them on the phone.

Step 2: Save the Presets

After unzipping your file you'll notice the preset .DNG files. These are the actual presets that will need to get installed.

Step 3: Open The Lightroom Mobile CC App

Open up the Lightroom mobile app, and simply add your .DNG files as if they were regular photos. (you click the little add photo button on the bottom right corner).

Step 4: Add the DNG preset files

Once you have clicked on all the DNG files, upload them to the app. It's a good idea to make a new folder for just these DNG files to make it easier to find. If you already have a lot of photos in your Lightroom app it can be hard to find them so putting them in their own folder makes the next step a lot easier.

Step 5: Save your presets

Once these DNG preset files are all imported in to your app, click on the first one, then go to the top right corner where you see the three dots and chose the 'create preset' button. A little window will come up where you can name your preset. I recommend making a preset folder for your Modern Market Presets and then naming the presets;

  1. Modern Market
  2. Modern Market
  3. Modern Market
  4. Modern Market
  5. Modern Market

You do this step for each of the DNG files which will save the adjustments that are from that preset.

Step 6: Using your Modern Market Presets

Now the most fun part, you finally get to use your brand new presets and see just how easy it is to transform your work! To use your preset, swipe left on the bottom options until you see "Presets" and tap on that option. You'll see your preset folder pop up and can easily click through all presets.

Don't forget to tag @modernmarketpresets on instagram so I can see your beautiful photos!
